These tools are made from a high grade aluminum that does not warp. The number of vacuum holes give a vacuum across the surface that will hold materials with a sideways force with over a hundred pounds of force. The larger the materials being held the greater the holding force so it is advantageous to either machine the large parts cutting all the way thru the material but for the smaller parts the skin method can be used. Many smaller parts can be produced from a larger plate using the skin method when holding a small part would not be able to be held solely with vacuum. The HG style tables are the most east to use with setup time being minimal.
