MP series (from Metapor, sintered aluminum)
MP series of vacuum tables have a sintered, air-permeable vacuum plate which makes them perfect for extreme flexible materials and thin films. These have a vacuum plate Metapor inside the vacuum table. Metapor is sintered aluminum and thus permeable to air. The main advantage of an MP table is that it is absolutely flat and has a homogeneous surface. Dimpling of the work piece is therefore not possible and the tension of thin films, membranes and other materials is a breeze. Please keep in mind, this table cannot be used with coolants or should not get wet.
